Friday afternoon was great fun. I got to fish with Brandy and Aaron, a really fun couple from Wisconsin. They just took up fishing for the first time on a whim two or three years ago. Now they're expanding their fishing horizons and came to Chattanooga to pursue Tennessee River blue cats. They got a pretty good taste. It had been a decent afternoon with quite a few fish in the boat, but we were getting close to calling it a day when "Boom!" Brandy and Aaron doubled up on 20 and 30-pound blues. Also very cool that we caught them using planer boards. It is REALLY exciting to watch a big blue hit and planer boards go streaking across the water. It's kind of reminiscent of the scene in Jaws where the shark is dragging those big barrels away. It was a great end to a great afternoon with really cool people.
