I've never really paid attention to the moon phase in turkey season but I have friends who are great turkey hunters tell me they don't like a full moon. It's getting late in the season and activity seems to be at a lull lately. Any thoughts or experiences in late season with full moon?

I had one gobble his snood off this morning but we left him still on the limb at 8

I've had others start gobbling in the moonlight 45 minutes before first gray light and ride home with me

I went out yesterday afternoon, saw a huge bear across a field from about 100 yards away.
It didn't notice us, but eased on off into the wood line.

We didn't hear any gobbling at all, tried hooting at dusk, still nothing. A few owls answered us back.

I was kidding around about the full moon, saying that was probably why they were quiet.
