Going over to our property in Crossville the first of April to plant some fruit trees and black and raspberry bushes.
My desire is to plant about 4-6 apple trees, and two each of pear, peach, cherry, and prunes plus as assortment of berry plants.
Couple of questions. Would you recommend a nursery close to Crossville to buy everything or should I order online? Is there any types of the fruit trees I mentioned that grow better than others? For example, which type of apples grow best?
Should I plant the trees inside "tree tubes" to protect them from deer?
Any and all help is appreciated.
