friends wanting deer

I have a couple people asking me for a deer this year and I was wondering what I would need to give them so they don't get in trouble. I know the conformation number from being checked in. Is that all? One will process himself the other will probably take the deer to be processed. Thanks in advance

The confirmation number is all they need.

It has to be checked in before gifting to someone.

If they take it to a processor (or taxidermist), documentation of the checkin needs to accompany the animal on a TWRA approved form. Those forms are the check in "receipt" from a checking station, the screen print from an online check in, or a filled out TWRA Harvest Log with the confirmation number.
