we went fishing off 79 twards paris landing and we fishing eagle creek and i caught a nothern pike i didn't think we had em in tn got him on a silver fluke

If you catch another one, mail it to RSimms he can identify it for you. :D Don't bother with dry ice or anything like that just lay it out on the bank for at least a day before you mail it.

northerns were stocked in melton hill lake in the 80's. i caught one about 20 inches long shortly after the stocking.

yeah thats what it was a chain pickerl first time i ever hooked into one here in tn. we used to catch the fire out of em in upstate ny
