My Oaks i got from the same source were any where from 3 to 6 feet tall... my pines looked healthy as well...

Unfortunately, I was late checking into this. I contacted the POC yesterday for my area and she said in an e-mail they had only 3 or 4 left, whatever that means. Just sent her an e-mail asking for clarification.

i got some sawtooths today! good looking trees.... and at the best price around.

I went and bid of digging some trees today up in Grundy Co. The guy that I will be digging for is gonna bareroot alot of Pin oaks and aristocrat pears.. just the heads up if anyone is interested in them..

They will be free.. I've just gotta find the time to get my bobcat up there to pull them up.

how did the sawtooth oaks look? size etc?

The ones I received were really nice. Planted they are between 3-4 feet tall. Very healthy. I was able to get them in the ground Saturday, before the rain Sunday and Monday. See in the forecast rain for this Sunday. This is following 4 days of really nice weather. So hopefully the sunshine and rain will help the trees get a good start!
