I did a bit. It was only ever ok for me. I hunted the transition points from pine to hardwoods and did alright.
I hunted it a few years back and had some good hunts late in the season after everyone else had given up. I am going to try it a little earlier this year.
Some big bucks in there if your willing to do the leg work to get to them.

I kill deer there every year and have for years. It is pretty easy to get away from other hunters there.

Never tried it, but it seems like a nice sized area with lots of potential.

Yea, I've changed jobs, changed wives, just finished building a house, and basically got a whole new life started. Been waaaay too busy to be obsessing over deer hunting...lol

Franklin was the first place I ever deer hunted in TN. Tough hunting!

One thing to keep in mind is part of it is in Marion county. So pay attention to the county line if you are into shooting does.
Yeah I happened to notice that when I was looking at google earth. Could be bad if someone didn't know that. I am heading there this evening for a little squirrel hunting and scouting trip.horn master said:
