Franchi Affinity 24” and Apex Ninja #8.5 shot

Just wanted to try this setup with a .570 constriction. My .562 works well for #9s, but I think with patterns like this, I have found my new combo. The 8.5 shot has only about 90 pellets less than #9s. I zeroed the red dot after this shot, so yes, I know the pattern is low left, but I was shooting to check density….

Nice pattern there. I am shooting a Mossberg SA 20ga turkey gun. I shot both carlson chokes. They shot good. But i think a .570 will do better job in my gun. So i ordered a Patternmaster anaconda. 570 turkey choke. I seen some killer patterns with that choke. I am shooting federal 3 inch 9 shot. I wanted some ninja loads. But they was sold out at the time. That choke shot Winchester longbeard xr 6 shot too.

I spoke with the boys at Apex. They said they would not start producing the Ninja series again until about August…when they do and I can buy some more, I will have a bunch of Federal TSS #9s for sale….
