I just got one today!! Anyone have these?
It comes with 32 sounds right, can you add more and still keep the 32?
Can you erase some of the 32 and replace them with something else?I doubt i call many moose here in tn.
 
gime me some pointers, what calls do ya'll use the most.Do you run both speakers?
How far to put the call?etc...
 
You have a great caller dude. I have the older 416B with remote and love it. Yes you can go to the Foxpro website and get new sounds to download. I think you can buy a bundle for around $15 or so for like 20 sounds or so. I use mostly rabbit and bird distress sounds on mine. Go to Foxpro.com and go to the forums to the caller forum and you can get all the info you need.

I usually put the caller about 50 yards up wind of me. I usually sit into the wind or with a crosswind. This will allow the coyote to get between you and the caller without getting downwind of you. Of course they will sometimes fool you and show up where you least expect them to. If you have a right to left wind set the caller about 50 yards in front and to your right. This will put you more downwind of the caller to catch him coming in. And vice versa with a left to right wind. I also use a feather on an old arrow with some fishing line or string. Works really well. Also start every stand with the volume low for about 5 minutes or so. If you have one close sometimes too loud a volume will cause them to get out of the country quick. I then increase the volume from there. I also play my sounds continuously. Usually rabbit for 8 minutes, bird distress 8 minutes, and then back to rabbit for 8 minutes. I end every stand with pup in distress for about 1 minute and sit quietly for about 10 minutes. If you have a cat in the area, they will tend to lose interest with a stop and go sound. Also when you see coyote approaching lower the volume to peek there interest to keep them coming. I sometimes will even mute it if they are close to get them to stop and them BAM! To get them to stop, a simple WOOF from you will do it.
 
good info, i've killed a couple with mouth calls but think i've probably been seen more than not! So i wanted a remote caller.
How long do you give a setup before leaving.Ever use the howls?

I always stay at least 30 minutes really depending if it is cat area. Cats seem to want to take too long to come in. I have had better luck staying that long. It's hard to sit that long but it pats off more than not for me. I use howls early in the morning and the last stand of the day at the very end of the stand. Just to see if I can get a dominate male or female to come in a see who is in their territory. And I always sit for at least 10 minutes after I howl. And watch my downwind side. They think another dog is there so they will more than likely try to come downwind. But, they can fool you and just come busting in for a fight regardless of the wind.
