Found this weekend

My first time out this weekend in the back of our property. Found a lot of junk as well but these 2 pieces were kind cool. 1898 Indian Head penny (very poor shape) and what looks like a civil war era bullet.

Not sure. Flat on the bottom. Patina is pretty evenly white. Is there a good way to tell that doesn't damage it?

Added 2 more photos that might help. I did clean it up a bit with water and q-tip to remove the dirt only... Didn't touch the patina.

At first look I thought it may be a Williams cleaner. Cannot really tell from the photos.
