found the biggest ginseng root of my life today

this picture does not do this root justice, found a handfull of plants today and found this 3 PRONG, yeah not a 4 but just a 3, knew when i was digging it was gonna be big, just wasn't sure how big. awful proud to show it to you guys

yeah i believe it has helped out a bunch, haven't really got into any big patches yet, did find a good 4 today that was loaded with red berries

That is a nice root, I went today for a sshort time only found five roots to dig but what I found wow! almost three ounces in five roots. I think it is going to be a good year already got about four pounds wet.

sounds like you're having a good year so far rut, think combined me and dad have found about 9 ounces dried from last saturday to today, looking forward to getting deep in the woods this weekend

These country boys up here tell me they dont go if they dont think they can dig a lb a day not me I just love to be in the woods, got a six year old that is learning and maybe one day he can show his son.
