Alright guys I know this question has already been asked probably a hundred times but I'm a younger guy and I'm not sure how Fort Campbell works exactly. If anyone can give me step by step instructions on how to go about being able to hunt the Fort this year for Deer season it would be very much appreciated. I went to their website and read all the info about it but I'm still a little fuzzy about it and I was just looking for some first hand experience advice. Also can I do all my registering online before I go or must I go up there and go through the verification and get my photo ID. Any help or info is greatly appreciated!!

Ya I've already read that. I was just looking for info about how to go about it and how hard it is to do online or is it just easier to go up there and do it when you go hunting. Also, if anyone has any helpful info that isn't listed on that website that would be great too. Thanks!

when will they decide/ post the deer hunting rules for 2015 and will they ever upload the photos from 2014?

The regs get updated every year in July, so hopefully by July the new Garrison Commander will have the regs signed and updated, hopefully... The pics will be posted soon. With the new website being under the control of IMCOM, it takes forever to get anything posted. I know they were working on getting all the pictures edited for the website. So hopefully soon they will get them on the website.

Give me a call at the Outdoor Rec office tomorrow between 7:30 to 12:30, I could go into it on here but it would take forever to type out. But here's some to get you started. You can submit the permit request to get the process started, send the request form, along with a copy of your state hunting licenses and a copy of your hunter education card. We will process your request form and will issue you a permit number, you can use the number to get a hunting area, but you will have to come in person to get the picture take for the actual permit card. If you use a firearm for hunting it has to be registered, it has to be done in person at the visitor center at gate 4 (5:00 am to 9:00 pm).

Thank you very much JDP. I don't know if I'll be able to call tomorrow due to work but I will try to call soon and talk to you... One last question since you mentioned something about it, Can I register my gun and get my ID photo when I go up to hunt or do I have to go up there ahead of time and do it.

You can get your ID photo and register your firearm when you go to hunt but it's probably better to go before, the visitor center at gate 4 changes their hours alot and they may not be open when you go to hunt. You have to get your picture ID before you can pick up your area assignment, and the store hours are different then the area assignment side. Call anytime, but I work Sunday through Thursday.
