im lookin to sow some forage oats and just curious of how well it grows with chicory and clover or will one smother the other out.. i recently planted the 2 pound bag of evolved harvest clover/chicory game seed so let me know bout how much i need to plant on bout a 35 yds long and 25 yds across food plot thanks
 
so a fify pound bag would basically be a waste of time??? i hope to get it out bout the first of sept.. the clover i planted wed is lookin awesome got my fingers crossed it makes it

yea im gonna do a oat only plot on top of a ridge with partial shade and partial sun will the oats make it ?? or should i mix them with something?? what do you guys prefer?? its bout 40x20 spot in the woods
 
For the size plots you are making,. you would be much better off , if you want a mix,.. to go with something like imperial secret spot or biologic hot spot. 50 lb bags are still overkill really,.. so for cost reasons,. thats why i make that recommendation. Both are really good products for the size plots you working with.
 
can i plant some trophy oats in a partial shaded area with good moisture or does it need lots of sunshine??? just doin a new plot in the woods and curious if they work?? i want to hunt it all year long and dont wont it to die in the winter??? bout 6,000 square ft spot in the woods? thanks
