I'm in the market for a vacuum sealer. Was wondering opinions and what to look for. I will be dressing my own deer this year and getting 40 meat chickens Wednesday.

I've had mine about 6 years. Most of the complaints I've heard about FoodSavers have been on more recent models. I've had ZERO problems with mine, but I know people that have sworn away the brand for problems with theirs. I've been pretty pleased with Weston brand stuff…..look there for comparable prices and arguably better equipment.
I'd stay away from the lowest models of Foodsaver. We went through a couple before buying a mid-range model. We are pleased with our current one.
