Food Plots

I have always planted soybeans for my food plot and then hunted over the area all hunting season even when the beans died. This year I bought a new piece of land planted soybeans but weeds have begun to over take it. I am thinking about planting a blend of turnips, radishes, and kale and then broadcasting in some clover with winter rye. Any thoughts or suggestions?

The mix sounds good. You spraying first? Those weeds would need to be addressed.

You plan on doing any tillage? If a man was to of sowed his seeds and then bushhogged the thatch on top just ahead of all this rain we just got in Midwestern TN, he's be in a good place right about now
