Had jmb4wd out this weekend to do some tractor work. This plot is 174 yards long and since the dozer work it has opened up the back end quite a bit.

Here's a shot from the other end. Sunday we put the harrow on the 4wheeler to lightly drag it to get some soil to seed contact.

Here is the other ridge top plot. I told Justin that this one would be the worse plot. Turned out the soil was killer compared to what I first thought. This one should be good in a few years and hopefully this year turn out good.

Here is the other new plot, "Maddie's plot". My daughter wanted her own...so she got it. This one should be killer about the time the bucks are on their feet.

this is one is close to the cabin and property lines. If it draws to much attention it will get mowed down. I don't have many flat spots so this one needed something.

All in all I now have 6 active plots and two others in rotation. Tylers plot was widened and will have clover and a strip of beans. I am going crazy with the beans as an experiment (aka I love planting them). I am hoping that I will have enough to get some growth and feed some mouths. If not I have had fun and will try again next year. justin did a good job and I recommend him if you need some tractor work. I was very pleased with the chisel plow and even though the disk broke before we finished I know next year we will get it all done. Stuff breaks and that is part of it. I will post results as I have them. Thanks for looking and having fun with me. :cool:

I'm afraid not enough. Not sure exactly I need to get a gps and measure the plots. I would guess 2-3 total.

Still working on it. I need to get with quailman on a few things and start pulling it together. With the wet weather I've been behind in getting my place "presentable". Hopefully this week I will post a date and an itinerary.
 
The plots and the cabin look good ! You sure have improved the land from when you first bought it . I see you put Julie to work too :) If I do get back to Tn. , I would like to see your place . I miss hunting with you out there . You did good my friend . ;)

Thanks, I've been meaning to pm you. I have a ton to catch up on. I wish you could see it and hunt it with me. When I bought it I think we both seen the possibilities of what it could be. Finally it is starting to take shape. How do you like the stone? Getting ready to wrap the foundation with it.

Rain wood be nice. Inside? Ooopppsss! Forgot to work on that. Ha. Actually we started sanding the wood inside the bathroom and sealed one wall. We were suppose to put tile in this weekend but we are a little behind on that.
 
Stone on the cabin looks nice ! We planted plots on our lease here in MO. a couple of weeks ago . I'm not real keen on springtime plots because of the summer heat and dry weather .
It's 90-95 here this week too . Rain on the way for the next two days .
