Will it hurt to let our clover/alfalfa food plots grow till they seed or would it be better to weedeat them down some if the deer aren't keeping them eat down? Our lease is six hours away so we are trying to decide if we need to make the trip West to check them.

I planted Antler King clover and they are telling me that I can let it get 20 inches before I need to cut it. So far it doesn't appear that it will reach 20 inches because the deer are already eating it fairly well.
