Food Plots food plot question

I have 5 acres that Im going to let grow up instead of the farmer putting crops there.In the middle of this I want to put a long foodplot that would be maybe 3/4 acre.I want this to be year round food.I currently have a corn plot that Justin put in,a clover and chickory plot and a crimson clover and wheat plot with turnips.My question is,if I get clover going good in the plot how do I go about planting next fall?If I spray,wont that just kill what I currently have and I would have to start over.Please help me by telling me how to transition from summer to winter.

Clover seed will come back whether tilled or sprayed. However I always add about 1 to 2 pounds of new clover to our food plots each fall......with very good results.
