food plot mix

hey guys , i am planting a one acre food plot when the rain allows it .i want to plant wheat , "grain" rye , and clover . my question is how many pounds of each would u all suggest in the mix . i have planted smaller plots and just kind of guessed at it.. i just want to make sure i get enough of each one in there to do the job . thanks for the help

A normal planting of wheat or any grain is about 50 lbs per acre, and most people broadcast it "heavy" with 100 lbs per acre. With the mixture you want i'd go with 25 lbs wheat, 25 lbs rye, and 3-5 lbs clover.
