Follow up to Segmented slug

It leaves the barrel as 1 projectile and segments on impact....thats why I am asking...one of those areas where the rule makers make the call....

If it leaves as one projectile, I would consider it legal. I would also doubt that it is as effective for deer as the conventional slug. It may be great for home defense, but I seriously doubt it was designed to kill deer.
