I've been making and fishing a fly and "rind" ( can't get real rind at a reasonable $) . I've used zoom mini chunks on the 1/8 oz fly. I mostly use it as a drop bait on deep water on bluffs and I'll cast it up shat and drag it off rock shelfs, let if fall while watching the line till it bellies then drag and drop again.
Is there other ways to fish it? A way to fish it faster or cover more water? I've gotten a lot of confidence in it and find I end up with my spinning rod with the fly in my hand when I should be using a faster bait like a crank bait.
