have never planted nothing that doesnt make no food.
I am a perinnial flower fanatic. I am actually more of a flower dude than a veggie dude.

Pretty ones....??? No clue
I'd go to a good nursery, not the box stores, to look at perennials you like. Then research prices.
If you want annuals and fool proof, long season blooms go with zinnias- a pack of seeds is really cheap and they'll grow just about anywhere.

I like perennials better, always have. Dont know if it is bc I am cheap and dont wanna spend money on something that will only grow a year and die
