Florida Hunts

It is killing me to not be able to head down there again this yr. In the process of moving and have to be out of our old house by March 2nd. Trying to build a house and haven't even got started yet.
Back at them next yr I guess.

I'll try FL again sometime soon. I'm hoping to get some special opportunity hunt when I do. I really enjoyed my first attempt.

We'll have to plan a Tndeer trip next year. I don't usually mess around with the quotas, but it's pretty easy to get them if you stick with it till the end. Got the second Fisheating Creek hunt. Works out pretty good. I'll get to hunt The Cypress first four days and then head there for another four. What's nice about them quota hunts is you can bring a guest with you and they can hunt. I'll be in camp March 4th

Is the permit only good for 1 bird even though both are hunting? I've read about it but never really looked into it

Yes, unless it has changed recently. I might try and go back next year. If I get drawn for the wma I want there are a bunch of birds on it.

I keep saying I'm going somewhere but I never do. I don't think I wanna attempt florida first though

Oh quit worrying about it and go. I went to Florida twice before I went anywhere else. Now I don't feel like I've hunted enough if I don't get in 4 or 5 states each year. It gets worse after you leave your home turf for some reason.
