I'm not a purist by any means. I use an inline now but I'd be for a primitive weapon week before gun season.....

This is about the only way that a new season segment will happen. The only other that comes to mind is to get the state legislature to pass a law mandating it, since they are so up on biology and conservation that they need to be involved in game laws now....

Well 💩 with that logic lets just hunt em all year around, 1 month of stick bows, month of recurve, month of flintlock, month of percussion cap, month of pistol and on an on. This 💩 is getting ridiculous just use what you want in the season it's appropriate for and stop worrying about what every body else does, damn! Hunters are the biggest bunch of jealous whiners there is!!! It just aint fair😢
 
We don't need a flintlock only season . We have seasons that include flintlocks for many weeks.
Everybody in this day and age wants to have their own day.

Nobody hates a hunter like another hunter.
Everybody has a bigger pecker and those that don't do it like another man are inferior. Even if they are hunting within the laws.
 
I listened to his proposal. It also included not wearing orange or fluorescent pink. He wants to dress in authentic frontier leather clothes and a coonskin hat like Davy Crockett so an August hunt or combining it with ML wouldn't work!

Reckon they could combine spear season with it to appeal to the other 12 people 🤣 , I swear things keep changing to give every person that wants something different during deer season won't have a start and stop date.
 
I'm in for 3 more weeks of hunting, funny clothes & all..👍

My flintlock season runs from November thru the 1st week of January..anyway so 3 more weeks after that with a 1 buck limit …0 antler less I think would be the great.

That would only leave about 6 weeks for cabin fever too set in before warm up.🤣👍

Oh heck now. I have a smokeless muzzleloader and even hate it. Id do primitive and let it be flint lock, muzzy and straight wall

Cool as long as your not allowed to drive a modern vehicle to the hunting area or use onX , cameras, or any other modern device during the hunt. Oh, and you also need to find a checking station as you shouldn't have a phone to check the deer out with.
