I had some bone collector fletchings on my arrows and they haven't lasted very long. most of them have disintegrated and fallen off in pieces. Does anyone have any recommendations for quality fletchings?

I use Bohning Blazer vanes for both competition and hunting applications. If you do not fletch your own, or don't care to start, the Quickfletch is probably the best route to go.

I went with blazers as q2i's were a bit more costly and difficult to find, locally.
My old vanes weren't exposed to too much heat; maybe no hotter than 95?
The main thing was, I think I might have been shooting them upside down once or twice (still learning!). Also, what was strange was only the orange vanes disintegrated and not the white nock vanes (?). I guess the orange ones were made out of less durable vinyl...or a variation thereof.

If you have the money and you fletch them yourself, go to Lancaster archery and look up Bjorn Dragon Vanes......without a doubt the most durable vane I have ever used.....they look funny, but they shoot great and they last!
