Anyone ever repaired a cut or broken cable. My trolling motor mount cut the cable in half on my hook 5. Is it worth trying to fix? Prices a new cable and it's almost half of what I paid for graph.

My son partially cut his Livescope transducer cable and fixed it. Tedious work but saved a bunch of $$$.
if you can solder fairly well. the resistance of the cable affects the xducer function. use liquid tape to seal and tape over that.
Can you look at the end of the cable and give me the model # that should be on the tag? I might have a spare transducer laying around that is the same or compatible (and you're welcome to have it if I do). I'm not positive, but I can check...
