Until you get 2 barbs of a 1/0 treble hook embedded in your elbow. This was my 15 year old nephew on Friday(the 13th).

Dang hate to see that, self inflicted? had a crappie hook bury in my lip 1 time, 30y cast by my buddy, got hung up and came loose, it started a swinging motion with bobber sinker hook rotating, I tried to coverup at last second, went just to the barb, I looked over to see if he was going to set the hook or not 
, no where near as bad as that. The hooks these days are so sharp that just handling the lures is tricky

He tripped in the boat fell on a rigged snapper rod.
When I was about 18 I had to get one removed that got lodged my knuckle on my middle finger.
Ouch I know that's ZERO FUN. My youngest son caught me in the back with a crankbait and buried both trebles dead center of my back. Had to get him to cut his line so that way I could get in the truck and drive us to the walk-in place to have it removed.
Makes me cringe just looking at it. Had a buddy get a pretty good size crankbait stuck in his shoulder. Sucker pounded a bottle of jack and let me go to town with a pair of pliers. Pulled and tugged for an hour before finally taking him to the hospital.
I got a rattletrap treble hook under my thumbnail on my left hand once , when i got to the truck i found out quick my keys were in my left pocket. Had to drop my pants to get my keys
