They actually have alot in common.

We were fishing on Friday and after whacking them pretty good we fired up the motor and headed to the ramp.

I put 3 gallons of gas in the tank 3 days prior (25 hp outboard) and honestly I never thought about it.

Well we got about 50 yards and the motor just quit. Trolling motor died too. :(

Got Bobby to call a friend of mine and 20 minutes later he was there with a can of gas.

Just thought that was cool and made me realize people with boats and people that ride motorcycles will do whatever they can to help no matter what.

Oh yeah. I've met some pretty cool guys when riding with friend on his boat and run out of gas.

Was also fishing with a fella one time for stripe bass below melton hill got talking with him seemed like a good guy. And years later, I was back fishing, he seen me on the bank (he was in a boat) and came and picked me and my buddy up to put us out where the big fish were. Caught a 15 pounder fish cast.

Where/when I grew up Motorcycles were considered as much part of outdoors as hunting and fishing. Practically all the boys in my school did all of that.

I have a picture of my dad next to his 1948 Indian flathead motorcycle with a stringer of bass hanging over one of the saddlebags.

I made a trip in the boat just yesterday to pick up a couple of Ryans friends broke down on the lake. Hydraulic steering fluid had leaked out and they couldn't steer the boat!
