We fry our fish in a skillet once in awhile and it works well. Tomorrow I'm having quite a few people over so I was thinking that would be excuse enough to go buy a real fish fryer. Been wanting one anyhow. I live fairly close to Cabelas and thinking I would head out there early in the morning. Any advice on which fryer to buy? If not Cabelas where? Thanks!

I caught a BPS sale a few years ago for $29.99. It has worked great. The main thing about fryers is to get quality oil. I have settled on peanut oil. I found some for $11.99 per gallon. It is worth it.

TT, my son has had an allergic reaction to peanuts so I guess we are just going to use just regular veggie oil...thanks for the help, we decided on a fryer from Cabelas for about $55
