So I got drawn for a hunt next week. Haven't been on a WMA deer hunt in a long time.
I used to see a pop up blind here and there but don't know if they are frowned upon or not. I have turkey hunted in one, in a rain storm. Hung an orange vest on top... just in case. Probably do that this time for sure.
Anyways, I am fine just sitting against a tree too but will have a new hunter with me and wanted to make a day of it.
Not really concerned what other hunters think as much as what the rules are.

Thoughts?

Someone might know. I have seen them on WMA's. You might put a call into TWRA but I would send an email so the response is in writing. I would definitely hang some orange where it would be visible.
I would not think it would be illegal but for sure don't know.

I hunt WMA's and blinds are legal. Lots of people hunt WMA's with a pop up blind. Unless it says something about it not being legal on your WMA which I doubt then your fine.
