First Tournament!

And I get to fish for free! Do not have all the details, but I know the winner get a good amount of money. It is the " Kickin Bass" tournament in Guntersville,Al. Invite only it is put on by Huntsville Hospital and it is for all high school and college coaches.

I have no clue about tournament fishing but boy I am looking forward to it.

Step one: Errrrrr what the heck is it lol.

I can fish but I don't know where to start on Guntersville.

I'd get in the mouth of creeks or bridges and hurl an A-Rig. I'd also have a Royal Shad XR50 on a rod and rip it through some grass. Good luck.

Good luck! I've had my best luck on my 1st visit to a different place, and I've heard the same from others. Guess it's cause you're more willing to move.

Mid June the bass will be on the ledges. Deep diving crankbaits, a big 10-14 inch worm and a jig will be good. However on Gville the grass should be think and a frog is always a good choice.

Look for current breaks on the main river.
