Just pulled the jaw bone for the first time on any of the deer I have killed. Believe I am going to start doing it more often. Now I have to learn how to age them myself. How old does the jaw bone indicate this deer was? Thanks!

Yea 2.5 for sure,
See how sharp they are with very little dentin showing, and you know it is at least 2.5 because all the baby teeth are gone.
All premolars have 2 cusps,as BSK pointed out a perfect example of a 2.5 year old ,If it were a 1.5 the third molar would be under developed ,and if it were 3.5 the sharp edges would be down considerably, along with some other things ,,,Dentin line ect.
