3rd hunt and 1st shed of the year, it's a fresh 4 pt.

Done found 2 this year, half of a big 6 and a better then average 4 point side. Found them both last weekend of rabbit season.

Are you going to put it on the dash of your truck? I need to be able to identify your truck when I'm out and about.

Good find, post up a clear pic so we can see it. it looks like a pretty good shed in the pic, but can't tell.

We have been 3 times and found the first on Saturday in the middle of a bean field.

man I already have 2 sheds on the dash, this one is a small 8 but actually decent assuming it's a yearling.

Nice find. I checked my cams a few days ago and all the bucks I had pics of still had there horns but they should start dropping anytime. They started hitting the trophy rock hard in the last few weeks in Washington co.

Wow, I just realized I found my first shed before you did Jonathon! Feeling good, now lets see if I can find that first mushroom :)

Would u guys rather hunt sheds on a sunny day or an overcast day?

Depends. If in a field they stick out like a sore thumb on a sunny day. But if I'm in the woods overcast seems better.

I didn't even start looking till several days ago. I sure wasn't the first to start finding em. Mushrooms will find me first, however.

definitely overcast. In the sun, it's hard to see when you are facing the sun, and also the sun makes everything shiny, even big oak leaves on the ground, so it's all around tougher to spot antlers. Even as cold as it's been I have enjoyed walking the woods and thickets with the overcast weather, although the snow makes it a bit tougher. Ready for warmer weather
