First public land bird

I was fortunate enough to get my first public land bird ever on Sunday! He never gobbled. I sat on the edge of a small field for a few hours and could swear I was hearing a bird drum but couldn't see him. I stood up slowly to peak over the rise in the middle of the field and there he was about 200 yards. I switched calls, scratched some leaves, and then he came right to me drumming the whole way!

1 1/8 and 1 inch spurs
19.5 lbs
I cooked one breast in the air fryer tonight after injecting it with Franks red hot sauce. It was pretty dang good!

Injected with hot sauce, that's a new one on me. Pic looks great and I love hot sauce but I never would have thought to inject it into a bird.

My uncle has been doing it for years at thanksgiving. He injects with franks and then deep fries it. He's got it perfected after several years and it's the best I've ever had. The next one I cook will soak in a brine over night, more sauce injected, and will be cooked about 5 minutes less.
