Went Tuesday just to see how they were doing. Found a creek with 2-3 degree warmer water. Didn't catch any big ones but we ended up with 27 keepers

It can be surprising where they are this time of year. My buddy from NC has a fish camp down on Hartwell. He was doing some prowling after not being on the lake for a while. He found some 58-60 deg water in the back of a big bay and decided to give it a try. He caught his limit of good fish fishing about 18" deep. That would not have been where he or I thought they would be.
All of ours were less than 3 ft deep
