Home Made Pickles(dill) from our Garden Cucumbers/dill Spears, traditional circle slices and sammich slices. 9 quarts should last us a couple of years:

...but if they are really good they might not last 6 months. How long am I supposed to I wait before trying one?

Okay, if they are good, a jar will last maybe two weeks, don't serve any ham or beef they last longer. How could they be bad?

Now I am hungry.

My Garden overall is doing fantastic this year. I think the Compost I started a year ago might be the key.

Along with the pickles, we've already made about 2.5 gals of Tomato Sauce just under a gallon of Salsa ate a ton of lettuce (pulled up the plants a week or so ago) and use lots of various garden herbs. Watermelons should be ready soon.

we have a ton of squash and okra and I have gotten to really favor the small one any squash over 5 inches or okra over 3 gets fed to the cows
