Trench set with Cavens Violator 7 in the hole, and red fox urine on the backing.. Came back 12 hours later and got her.

First year trapping and learning from the mistakes.. somehow caught the back leg, but a catch is a catch.

MB 550 Offset. Degreased and threw in the ground

I set 18 traps Sunday. It's hard on an old fart being on your knees half a day. The more you do it the better and faster you'll get. I usually don't check the first day after but I did. One near(1/8inch) miss with a cat but did get a buzzard. Just like Christmas every time you run your traps, you just don't know what's going to be underneath the tree!!

Congrats! That's my goal this weekend.. Bobcat before season closes.

So far at my lease:

6 raccoons - dogproofs
3 skunks - dogproofs
2 possums - mb550 and dogproof

Another property:

1 coyote - mb550
1 possum - mb550 on that blind set under the gate
1 problematic groundhog - Duke 1.5
