Thanks Guys, The gun is a .54 cal 42" Colerain barrel with round bottom rifling Made by Mr. Tip Curtis.

My load was a .530 self poured patched round ball and 70 grns of Goex fffg. with a pinch wasp nest between the ball and the powder.

The hunt was on Laurel Hill WMA, an area that I haven't hunted in 25 or 30 years.

Somehow the moon and the stars aligned and things worked out for me.
