First One of These On Camera!

I've only ever seen one black coyote before this. This is the first one I've got on a camera. Sorry for the grainy picture, but this Stealth cam just is that way.

Killed one years ago hunting that was black , it had the mange or something, made it look hideous. A older timer told me it was a "coy-dog". Said they breed like rabbits.

I've seen only a few pics of them and killed one that is currently sitting with the taxidermist. Pretty darn rare as far as I know.

Been running trail cams for a long time, and never gotten a single pic of a black yote. Never seen a black one either, they have to be very rare, here at least. Good luck killing it, I would have to have one mounted if I ever killed one.

Not common, but not sure about how rare.
I've gotten pics of at least 3 different black coyotes over past couple decades.
But can't say I've ever gotten a pic of an albino coyote.

Had thought black was supposed to be more rare than albino?

I can't imagine an albino yote would survive long.

Would definitely be easier to see in the South :)

I've also never gotten a pic of a black whitetail, although have seen one albino and a couple that were mostly white (but not true albinos).

That is exactly what we call them too. We have one on each place we hunt. Hopefully this year we will eliminate a few of them. I have seen them but the only ones I have killed are the regular gray brown colored ones.
