This is my first time ever videoing a hunt, and editing video period. I was happy with the way it turned out! Volume is a little soft at first because I was trying to be quiet.

I appreciate it Andy. Something I have always wanted to do. I finally stole my wife's camera for a weekend and gave it a shot. It makes hunting a lot more exciting for sure!

Awesome video redhead! I started videoing this year and now I'm hooked. Adds a whole another element of challenge and I love that. I did miss a opportunity on a big 6 that was cruising because of trying to film the shot. Keep me coming!

You can keep it budget... I paid less than $250 for a new camcorder this year that takes great video and has a zoom that you won't believe. Cheap camera arm from Sportsmans Guide, 16 gb memory card, and a cheap tripod covered in camo tape for ground hunting.

What camera do you have catman? I showed my wife the video and I apparently her camera has a manual focus also. So I would've been able to clear the picture a little better had I known that. I have the tripod, camera arm and sd cards. Thanks for watching!

mine has autofocus but also a feature letting you manually focus (touch screen buttons) and also a cool feature where you can touch the screen and it will try to pick up the area you touched and focus on it. It's a panasonic V250

Impressive. I would like to try to video a shoot sometime but I'm having a hard time getting a deer this year without the distractions of running a camera!

My wife showed me how to focus the camera so hopefully the next one will be a little better focused.
