First shot on a doe! Ooooh man my hands are shaking...

Watched her back 60 yards in the woods. She came running my way, stopped directly behind a tree so I could pull back, stepped out probably 5 yards from base of my tree. I should have shot higher up on her but I couldn't barely think. Hit right behind her shoulder n exited under her.

I'm staring at my arrow in the dirt. Hope she goes down quickly!

That is awesome man.

Don't push her, at such an extreme angle you possibly just got one lung.
Good luck !!

Hopefully you got the heart. It is good that your arrow went through, as I have heard of arrows hitting sternum and stopping, and you definitely want a blood trail. Give him a little time and go slow. If you bump him then back out. Hopefully he is already down close by.

Waited 40 minutes and started looking for blood... Arrow is nice and bloody. Big puddles where she stopped for a second after the shot. It's getting dark so I have to grab a couple flashlights outta my truck. The one i have just died

It sounds like you made a good shot on her. Hope she didn't go far, good luck!

Post pics when you can!

..........not good news. Tracked her a good ways into the woods. Last blood spot was a good one, but I'm gonna have to come back tomorrow and give it another go. I can't stop thinking about her and replaying everything in my mind. Hopefully have good news for yall tomorrow.

Thanks for the help
