first cantelope

picked my first cantelope 2 days ago 5or6lb gurney giant it was good catman but not enough of it to make me run to toilet didnt get no pics ill try to get a pic of the next one this is the first yr i have tried this kind and they are pretty good sized but no 18lb like book says (that probly picking them all off but one melon).

I have some gurney giants too, they are already pushing 5 or 6 pounds. They should ripen soon, but I'd like to see if any of them actually grow to the advertised 15+ pounds. Doesn't matter how big as much as how delicious... I will eat one straight out of the garden.

I got to say the gurney giants are some of the best tasting cantaloupes I have tried.
