I don't post a lot on here but I enjoy reading all the posts. I really enjoy the detailed stories of kids success, the " been after this buck for a few years", or just the different observations of deer. So with that being said, I'm not getting into a ton of detail on this one, other than I was extremely surprised and relieved. I've got a 16 and 13 year old that are really active in sports and love to hunt. So I try and let them have any opportunity to kill what they want. I haven't killed a buck in a few years but I had to take this one. My 16 yo was with me ( we were in different stand locations) he was as elated as I was. Later I found out they had told my wife they wish "dad would kill a buck this year". May be several more years before I kill another but this one is special.

Cool looking buck and a great memory with your son. I grew up hunting with my dad and we were almost always in seperate stands. I remember how excited I always was when he shot.
