I bought my niece a Genesis to start with and she really got into shooting it but none of us could ever shoot it consistently accurate. I can shoot a recurve pretty well now but I struggled with the Genesis.
I later bought her an Atomic just to experiment to see if she could shoot it any better and it was night and day difference. I would recommend the Atomic or the bigger one above it, the Prism. The Atomic is insanely small but very accurate for its size. I put a rubber tube peep on hers but it is as such a steep string angle because of the short A-A that it was problematic in putting it on there. In hindsight I should have prob got her the Prism but either one will be a good bow.
