If some of you remeber i bought this gun in Jan.07 and didn't get to hunt with it all summer then got it broke in good this here killed 11 deer with it I like it alot. Well now i like it even better my buddy just finished the stock for me take a look at this. Here is before and after

Looks great,did he use the browning stock,stripped it and bleeched the wood ? Looks great I really like them light stocks,I'm doing one for my sons Howa now.

yea that's the browning stock he didn't bleach it just striped the ugly finish off and put a clear farnish on it or something to protect it it's not real shiney but thats the way i wanted it
 
I've never liked the thick shiny finish that Browning put on their rifles. I've been known to remove some of their finish myself. Looks good and will not show dings like the original finish.
 
Looks really good! I have a question for you.
I go to church with a guy that really needed to sale one of his guns for money. I got a great deal. It's a Browning A Bolt .308 caliber. I got it for $300.
It does have a few scratches on it. How much did it cost to get all of that done to your gun?
