I had submitted a post awhile back talking about a pond leak I had. I was wondering if anyone had recommendations of something I could put in the water (coloring or something) to where I could find where the leak was? I have a feeling I know where the leak is at but want to verify. There is a branch on the other side of the dam on one side of the pond and I think the water is somehow coming under the dam and out into the branch. Thanks.

There is some pond dye you can buy. It is sold to shade the pond and prevent growth of aquatic plants. It will not hurt your fish, and will last a long time, but at least you will have a pretty blue leak free pond. try Forestry Suppliers www.forestrysuppliers.com

There are some dies you can buy...as posted. There are products purported to stop the leaks. But a leak may leaching-almost impossible to find or stop.

There is one surefire method to find the leak. Get a couple muskrats and watch them. They will find the leak within a day.

The website stovepipe provided is very good. We are going to try some of these techniques and see what happens. I'll keep you all posted.
