Got him on private land. First time in a tree stand for the year. I have got deer during archery but always does. He came thru about 7:45 in the morning along with a spike and a very messed up rack 3 pointer. Guy I hunt with and I decided to take the 3 out since it has been the same for 2 years now if we had the opportunity. Needless to say once I saw this one I forgot all about the 3 point lol. Biggest buck for me to date and to get it during archery makes it that much more enjoyable.

Congrats! It took me 5 years to arrow my first buck. It also took me 5 years to get serious about bow hunting because I always used that time frame for pre gun hunting scouting. When I finally figured I could kill a deer with a bow it started happening. It won't take as long to get your second.
