I have wanted a Kel-Tec PMR30 ever since I first read about them a couple years ago. I mean 30 rounds of 22 magnum firepower in a handheld lightweight package. What's not to love. They have been the most sought after firearm in history. Lots and lots of gougers inflating the price by as much as 3 times. Lots of crazy folks willing to pay the huge prices too. Then last year just about the time my name got close to the top of the list they stopped production and had a recall. Kel-Tec solved the issues and put them back into production.
I got a call from Frontier Firearms yesterday afternoon. They said they got one in and it was mine if I still wanted one. Yeah buddy I still want one. Best of all is that the good folks at Frontier are not gouging on the price. They could have put the gun on Gunbroker and got $200 more than they are selling it to me for. Hats off to a first class gun dealer that does not operate on greed. Pretty rare these days.
Momma and I will be making a road trip to Kingston this morning to pick up my pistol. I'll post some pics later and a range report tomorrow. Yeehaw!

i WAS planning on riding over to check it out. i figured it would be gone before i got there.
congrats

the price of 22 mag shells comes to my mind!....
but congrats on the purchase....

I have an inside source for ammo real cheap ;)

I was offered one of those from a distributor, and he told me how they were in high demand, and the price seemed right, soooo I got it for the store. We do not display semi autos so not to encourage the Democrats to shop here. I had it for 2 weeks, then a guy walks up out of the blue asking did we have one. I quietly walked to the safe, and brought it out. He was afraid to ask how much, but did. I told him $329.99, and he couldn`t say I`ll take it fast enough!!!

That is way below MSRP. If someone offered me a PMR for that money I might have to get an NCIS check to make sure it wasn't stolen. lol Smokin deal right there.

Here is a quick pic. Have not been able to get to the range yet. Will post results when I do.

Re: Finally (range report)

Made a quick trip to the range this afternoon. PMR was pretty much flawless in function but did not like CCI Maximags 40 gr hp's. The gun liked Federal Premium 30 gr Sierra jhp's pretty well. With the right ammo the pistol will shoot. It is so light it is difficult for me to get used to. Trigger pull is a bit long but fairly smooth. I figure a couple trips to the range will solve this issue. Here are some pics.
