After looking at hundreds of deer in Colorado that I could not shoot, it felt good to get back in a Tennessee tree and pull the trigger. I let a young 9 point walk first thing this morning. At about 9 am as I was getting ready for a mid morning snack, then this guy ran a doe out into the field. I had a split second to judge him, grab the gun, stop him, and take a shot.
