Been a rough month. Was without a truck for 3 weeks. Finally got it back and came down with bronchitis. Tried to put it behind me and try to kill one with my new gun. Wounded 2 and lost them and got really hot tracking them which was dumb on my part for even going. Long story short I spent Christmas day in the hospital with a viral pneumonia. I have been ill as a hornet because I have been so sick. You can't go out even if you wanted to. You can't be around anybody which was the worst because I missed playing with my son and all his new toys. I went today and bought a box of the 130gr core lok after my much debated thread. Resighted it in and a buddy called and asked if I wanted to go to his place in Roane County. I figured this was my last chance. I slipped through the fields until I came to one that was standing with about 7 nanner heads in it and I dropped her in her tracks at bout 175yards which was good but still didn't get a pass through. Glad i finally finished my meat list I had for everyone. I got mmy butcher starting on it.
